I am very jealous of you
You stood tall in frailty
Death cannot hold you
Coz you were always life-giving.
They wished you were dead
A message of intimidation to the world
The banner of victory is unfurled
Now you are everywhere.
We who are left behind
Stand and stare in awe
God was at your Calvary
Perhaps we did not see.
Ordinary Jesuits we are
Frozen in creature comforts
Holding dear our petty nothingness
Today we awake from slumber
Your witness saves us all
In you we can all take pride
There was one amongst us all
All for the glory of God
