How Late Have I Loved You – Caring for Our Common Home

It is an enlightening claim made by some of the mystics, that creation is a voluminous book whose author is God. Nevertheless, creation is the mirror image of the Creator’s presence. The Jesuit Poet, Gerard Manley Hopkins captures this mystical relationship of God through these lines: “The world is charged with the grandeur of God.” However, human beings have not been always co-operative in responding gratefully to this divine gift. In this essay, I shall discuss the call of humanity to care for our Common Home and the need to snap back.
