The Face of the Face-less

When attacked with acid she had just turned 19. The reason was that she was beautiful. A man in her village forced her for months and stalked on her. She has now a disfigured face and lost her vision. But now at 31, she is the beacon of hope for so many women survivors of similar violence. Kavita Bisht from Uttarakhand now teaches young differently-abled children at the USR Indu Samiti School.
