Some recent statements of quite a few priests, religious and lay persons give the impression that they see Israel-Hamas war as a war between innocent Jews and terrorist Muslims. Some even go to the extent of saying that Muslims may be planning to attack St Peter’s Basilica. These unfortunate statements tend to identify all Muslims with Hamas, which is, in fact, a terrorist organization. But Hamas does not represent all Palestinians.
