It is indeed the ‘Christmas’ story of 2018. While India was celebrating Independence Day on 15th August, a new-born baby was found in a Chennai gutter, wailing loudly. The umbilical cord was around his tiny neck. Many people walked across the drain. But it was a poor compassionate passer-by, Geetha, who came to his aid. Setting aside all her other tasks, she rushed him to the Government‘s Children Hospital.
