The recently concluded Synod on Synodality is historic on many counts. However, what stands out for me, as a woman, is the way the Synod participants experienced the reciprocity between men and women during that time. They made sincere efforts to listen to women and to understand their identity, role and mission in the Church and their place in God’s plan for humanity and for the whole Universe.
