Everyone can plant a tree. But very few people have made it their life’s mission to plant a large number of trees and see them grow. Trees like children need initial care; once they take deep roots, they are ready to bloom. Fr. Jolly Nadukudiyil, SJ, two decades ago, decided to dedicate himself to two most important areas of sustainable development: the environment and education of the poor migrant children.
