Discernment in common is gaining momentum in our apostolic processes and structures. It is rightly being rediscovered with the rediscovery of spiritual conversation – the Ignatian art of discernment. With the growing complexity of human situations and the subtleties of the social data available, discernment is becoming an increasingly difficult and challenging task. It is true that we humans can only have a sincere discernment and perfect discernment may be a utopia. However, we may want to fine tune it.
