Jesuits across the globe had recently been engaged in celebrations: The Universal Apostolic Preferences, the Ignatian Year of Conversion and Canonization, and the Review of the Statutes on Poverty. That was a lot to chew, that too in these pandemic years, when the urgent apostolic priority turned out to be just one: Medicare for all! However, beneath these commemorations, was implied a call for reimagining the Jesuits!
