St. Ignatius of Loyola underwent a deep conversion following the battle of Pamplona in 1521. To commemorate this event Fr. Arturo Sosa, Superior General of the Society of Jesus, has asked Jesuits all over the world to celebrate the year 2021-2022 as Ignatian Year. The present book is a valuable contribution to the celebration of the Ignatian Year. Announcing the Ignatian Year, Fr. Arturo Sosa said that the purpose of the Ignatian Year is to “see everything new in Christ”.
Ignatian spirituality is the common heritage of the entire Church. Daily reflection and prayer of the “Ignatian Insights” will offer spiritual nourishment not only to Jesuits but also to all priests, religious and lay persons. St. Ignatius and all the Jesuit Saints gave central place to Christ in their lives. Blessed Miguel Pro laid down his life with the words: “Long live Christ King!” Fr. Pedro Arrupe, former Superior General of the Society of Jesus, said: “For me Jesus Christ is everything.” This Book will certainly help all the readers to make their lives Christ-centered.
