Fr. Arturo Sosa, our Superior General, announced the four Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs) in Rome on 19th Feb 2019, and then took part in the Conference on the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Adults held at the Vatican. By February-end he was already in Goa with the Provincials for the JCSA meeting. After a quick visit to Belgaum he was in Mumbai from 2nd to 5th March, and after the Visitation of the Pune Province he flew back to Rome on 8th March. The UAPs were the main theme whenever he spoke to Jesuits. Despite his strenuous itinerary, he made some time to our Jivan correspondent, John Rose, SJ. Here are the main excerpts of the interview:
