When TV Narendran, the global CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, was asked how big Tata Steel expected to be by the end of this decade, he said: ‘…We have doubled our production in the last ten years. We are producing 20 million tonnes. Over the next ten years we want more than double so that by 2030, we can be at 40 million tonnes’.
