The three-year Jesuit project of promoting a consistent culture of protection (PCCP) for minors and vulnerable adults is a relevant and much needed plan of action, given the increase in the varied forms of abuses committed and reported within the Church and outside. Despite the Apostolic letter Vos Estis Lux Mundi given by Pope Francis on 7th May 2019, outlining his concerns on the crimes of sexual abuse, and elaborating on the provisions and norms to be followed, we can observe many violations by the very persons who are entrusted with protecting and leading people on the right path.
