The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles, widely known as SRA, an Apostolic Religious Congregation of Pontifical right, was canonically established on 1st July 1923, in Vienna. Fr. Antonius Maria Bodewig – the founder of SRA, was originally a German Jesuit missionary. While working in India as part of the Pune mission, he recognized an extra-ordinary impulse to dedicate his life to found a missionary society for the evangelization of India.
