The ‘Word of God’ Sunday on January 26, 2020, coincided with our Republic Day, the day on which our Indian Constitution was promulgated in 1950. Given the present scenario of the promotion of Hindutva in the multi-religious context of India, prominent religious leaders have made a fervent plea to give due respect to the Constitution as a sacred document like the scriptures of various religions.
