At last India seems to have woken up. Protests across the country, spontaneously led by University students, are becoming a movement. The youth, in particular, seem to have recognized the need to voice their dissent. For almost a decade people seem to have been numbed into silence partly out of fear, partly out of misguided expectations or misplaced hopes in the new regime.
