Sudheesh Minni’s book ‘Cellars of the Inferno: Confessions of an RSS Pracharak’ dispels any doubts about the RSS. Sudheesh was an RSS pracharak, who was inducted to its divisive ideology at the tender age of five. He was involved at various levels – as a participant in the shakhas and an organizer, both at the State and National levels. He travelled across the country and spent about 25 years of his life with the organisation. The initial conviction of the RSS ideology later gave way to repentance for the activities carried out. The book speaks of his repentance for his role as an RSS pracharak. It provides an insider’s view of the RSS, its activities, functioning, and its role in divisive politics.
