‘Have Roots first and Wings then’ is indeed a catchy concept. While we proceed to reimagining and re-founding the Jesuits, we must refuse to be the prisoners of the past, without pooh-poohing the roots of our yester centuries. And refuse again, to be insensitive to a novel future in the light of our present. With this in mind, let me highlight 3 priority Ds for our discernment.
